This is an Italian heirloom tomato brought to America and discovered in West Virginia. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producing plant. They produce these beefsteak tomatoes with a weight range from 8 ounces up to 11 ounces. These have a great sweet taste combined with an old-timey flavor. An excellent tomato for slicing, canning, and garnishes. These also sold well at farmers markets.
