Taps Black Tomato

This is a rare black tomato with an unknown history. We found this amongst our other plants. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these black beefsteak tomatoes. The plants had a below average production for us this year due to garden placement. But the tomatoes we got were absolutely delicious. They were meaty with a great balance and smooth an acidic taste on the back end.. An excellent tomato for sandwiches, slicing, or canning.
