Taps Tomato

This is a rare tomato with an unknown history. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these pink beefsteak tomatoes. The plants had a below average production for us this year due to garden placement. But the tomatoes we got were absolutely delicious. They were meaty with a great balance and leaned slightly more to the sweet side. An excellent tomato for sandwiches, slicing, or canning. If you like Taps Tomato, you may like West Virginia Tomato.
