This pepper originally is from the Caribbean. A mid-season pepper plant around 80 days. These plants only grow to be 2 feet tall. Another great variety for container gardens. An excellent producing plant of these bright yellow pods. These peppers are great for farmer markets. They are not very hot, more of a low to mild heat with a Scoville rating from 1,000 up to 2,000 SHU. The flavor is smokey and fruit with a touch of heat. A great pepper for snacking on, salsas, or added as a garnish. If you like Trinidad Perfume Pepper, you may also like Shishito Pepper.
