Turnip Tomato

Turnip Tomato is an heirloom tomato that originates from Italy. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. They are an indeterminate type that produce these large ox heart tomatoes. This is an average producing tomato plant, but will produce until the frost come if taken care of. These tomatoes have a weight range from 8 ounces (ca. 302 gram) to 12 ounces (ca. 454 gram). The flavor of these fruits are balanced but leans slightly more towards the sweet side. An all a round great tomato for slicing, sauces, or canning.
