Wolford’s Wonder Tomato

This is an heirloom tomato that pre-dates 1987. The seeds were first purchased back then. These tomatoes were in a Tomato contest, where Max Wolford won for this tomato. It is a late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these large oxheart tomatoes. They have an average weight range from 12 ounces to 16 ounces, But we have gotten a few over 1 pound. A very tasty tomato that has a sweet flavor.
