This is an (80 day) bush bean. It is an open pollinated variety. They produce these beautiful deep purple dry bean. These are a very productive plant of these around 5 inch long pods. The plants get to be about 16 inches tall. They have a heart full flavor to them. This bean could be used for snapping or to cook with. Added note, pods with turn green when cooked.
