Description
Anna Maria’s Heart Tomato
This is a family heirloom tomato that originated in Russia. First introduced publicly back in 2008 by Carolyn Male. Carolyn got these seeds from Scott Hamilton of Germany. His wife’s family kept passing them down throughout the family’s history of growing them. These are a large red heart shaped tomato. They are a mid to late season variety with regular leaves. Plus these tomatoes are an indeterminate plant too which will produce until frost time. But make sure to stake your plants well because of the weights of these fruits. Most of ours were quite large, weighing from 12 oz to 19 oz. Anna Maria’s Heart Tomato has a great sweet flavor taste to them. These are very meaty with few seeds in them. They could be used for canning, sauces, pastes, or fresh eating. If you would like to know more about this tomato, we have a review on our YouTube Channel.
