Mong Tomato
A late season variety with regular leaves. After researching this tomato, there are several versions. The versions are Hmong, Mong, and Humongous Mong Tomatoes. We think these are all the same, except there is a Hmong Grape Tomato too. This tomato did not reach the expected weights it should have, and the reason for that is because of the strange weather we had this year. But these are a red beefsteak tomato, which can reach a weight of 16oz (ca. 605 gram) or more. As pictured below, we averaged around 5 oz (ca. 189 gram). The flavor of these tomatoes are sweet and juicy at first, then about a few seconds later you will get some acidity. They are very flavorful and would make a great slicer or garnish tomato.
