A rare heirloom tomato Belarusian Heart Tomato is from Minsk, Belarus. This is a mid-season plant with regular leaves. These a good producer of large heart shaped tomatoes in clusters of 2-3 on the vines with very little seeds in them. This is an indeterminate variety which will keep giving fruits until frost comes. The flavors of these fruits a sweet but tangy. They make great paste and sauces, but could also be used for canning or slicing. If you like large heart shaped tomatoes for canning and sauces.     This variety was the sleeper of my harvest this year. I'd never tried a heart tomato and thought why not. This little gem is still going strong through a hot summer and giving my Parks Whoppers a run for their money long after others have died back. Very meaty with a subdued taste that had to grow on me. Sadly prone to skin breakage, but other than that...I plan to plant again next year
