An heirloom tomato from Italy. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate plant that produces these 6oz (ca. 227 gram) to 8oz (ca. 302 gram) elongated tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well because this is a heavy yielding plant. They are very meaty inside, containing very few seeds. Having fewer seeds makes these tomatoes great for pastes, sauces, and canning. Kenosha Tomato has an excellent sweet taste to them with some slight acidity.
