Brad Gates developed this gorgeous striped tomato. This was the first green tomato I every tried. After trying this, I fell in love with green tomatoes. They are not just meant for fried green tomatoes, you can eat then fresh to when they are ripe. If you have not tried a green tomato, you do not know what you are missing. Theses are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. An indeterminate plant that produces these 8 oz (ca. 302 gram) -16 oz (ca. 605 gram) beefsteak tomato. They have some complex flavors being sweet, acidic and tart which work well together. This tomato would be great for slicing, sandwich and an excellent market seller.
