Black Mammoth Tomato

A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. They are an indeterminate variety that produce these large black beefsteak with weights from 14 oz to over 16 oz. They are called mammoth for a good reason. Be sure to stake your plants well because of the weight of these tomatoes. Black Mammoth Tomato has a rich, balanced flavor to them. We like using these as a slicing tomato for sandwiches since they are large and covers the whole sandwich and hangs over.
