Black Sea Man Tomato

These are an old Russian heirloom tomato. A mid-season variety with potato leaves. This is a determinate variety which produces for 4 to 6 weeks. But in those 4 to 6 weeks, these produce loads of these black beefsteak tomatoes. Our consistent average tomato weights were around 12 oz and 13 oz. Yes, we got a few over and under those weights, but the majority of our tomato weighed between 12 and 13 ounces. The flavor of these beautiful fruits are really complex being creamy, sweet, acidic, with a hint of smokiness too. They will make excellent slicing, sandwich, and sauce tomatoes.
