Blaue Kasachstan Tomato is an heirloom tomato that originated in Russia but was discovered in Germany. A mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. This is an indeterminate variety that produces these medium-sized black tomatoes. These beefsteak tomatoes have weights that range from 5oz to 8oz. This beautiful tomato has a nice blend of sweetness and acidity, but has some smokiness too. They are a very flavorful fruit that will make an excellent slicing tomato for sandwiches.
