Description
Blue Canary Tomato
Developed by Dean Slater of Michigan. A mid-season plant with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate type which produces these 2 oz (ca. 76 gram) to 4 oz (ca. 151 gram) bicolored beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure when planting this tomato that they get a lot of sunlight to bring out more of the blue coloring. They are very juicy with some unique complex flavors to them. Those flavors in this yellow fruit would be sweet but tangy. These are a great market tomato because of their looks and flavor. They also could be used as a slicer or in salads.
