Brickyard Tomato

This was created by Dean Slater of Michigan. A large mahogany colored beefsteak tomato with a darker red/black flesh. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. An indeterminate tomato plant that will produce these ribbed tomatoes up until the frost comes if you take care of your plants. The weights can range from 12 oz up to 16 oz. Brickyard Tomato will yield bunches of the large beefsteak fruits, so be sure you stake your plants well. They are very juicy with a nice balance that leans a bit towards the sweet side.
