Brickyard Tomato

This was created by Dean Slater of Michigan. A large mahogany colored beefsteak tomato with a darker red/black flesh. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. An indeterminate plant that will produce these ribbed tomatoes up until the frost comes if you take care of your plants. The weights can range from 12 oz (ca. 454 gram) – 16 oz (ca. 605 gram). Brickyard Tomato will yield bunches of the large beefsteak fruits, so be sure you stake your plants well. They are very juicy with a nice balance which leans a bit towards the sweet side.
