Brickyard Heart Tomato

We planted 5 Brickyard Tomatoes, which were created by Dean Slater of Michigan. We discovered amongst those 5 plants, one of them was creating these heart shaped tomatoes. They look and taste the same as Brickyard Tomato, but are heart shaped with fewer seeds in them. These definitely have more meatiness to them than the beefsteaks do. This is a mid-season variety as well, with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate too, but be sure to stake your plants because of the production and weight of these fruits. The flavor of this tomato is balance and would make excellent sauces, pastes, or could be used for canning too.
