Butterscotch Paste tomato is a rare variety created by Dean Slater of Michigan. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. They are also an indeterminate plant. Which means they will produce up until frost time if you take care of your plants. This fruit has a unique butterscotch coloring to them. Also, these plants are prolific, producing tomatoes in the 2oz (ca. 76 gram)-4oz (ca. 151 gram) range. The flavor is very well-balanced with some complexities to them. They have some citrus notes along with a bit of tang. This make the taste unique and works well together. Lastly, these can be used as sauce, paste, canning, or even fresh eating on salads.
