This is a rare heirloom tomato that dates back to the 1930s. These red tomatoes were grown for many generations by the Caney Family of Kentucky. This is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that will keep giving you fruits until frost sets in if the plants are cared for. The average weights we got for these fruits were between 6 ounces and 8 ounces. These delicious tomatoes are juicy with an old-timey flavor. A great tomato for slicing, garnishes, and salsas.
