Carmello Tomato
The original tomato was The French Carmello tomato, which was a hybrid. They were de-hybridized back in 1993 and after selecting and becoming stable was named Carmello Tomato. An excellent tomato for market seller because it is a heavy producing indeterminate tomato plant. They will yield 6oz to 10oz red beefsteak tomatoes. This a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. A meaty tomato with thicker walls that has a mild, well-balanced long-lasting flavor. They could be used for slicing and cooking.
