Carmine Pepper
We got this rare pepper from a vendor in Germany a few years back. They since have closed, and we do not have any origin of this pepper except what grew. These were a late season pepper plant around 100 days. The plants got to be between 3 and 4 feet tall. A great variety to grow in containers. These plants are bushy and produce loads of these yellow 2 inch long peppers with a bulge toward the top. A mild to hot pod we are not sure of the Scoville rating. These would be great for fresh eating, cooking, or added salsas or hot sauces. If you like Carmine Pepper, you may like Aji Lemon Drop Pepper.
