Charlie Scott’s Wartime Tomato

These are a rare heirloom tomato that comes from New Zealand. A very prolific mid-season plant that has regular leaves. They are also an indeterminate variety that produces these 1 oz (ca. 38 gram)-3 oz (ca. 113 gram) red cherry tomatoes. This is a thicker walled fruit with an excellent flavor, being old-timey and well-balanced. They would make for a great snacking, fresh eating, and salad tomato.
