Cherokee Lime Stripes Tomato

This was stabilized by Bill Jeffers of Indiana. This was a selection he worked with out of Cherokee Lime Tomato. These are a late season plant, an indeterminate tomato. This plant produces these gorgeous bicolored striped 5oz – 8oz beefsteaks. The flavor is exquisite and complex sweet and acidic but citrus notes, almost lime tasting at times. This is a regular leaf variety also an open pollinated fruit. That make for good as a slicer, canning, or add it to garnishes to enhance the flavors.
