These are also known as Chinese Chives. This is an heirloom that dates back 3000 years. A great herb to cook with to enhance almost any dish. They add a mild garlic taste compared to using regular garlic bulbs. These are a perennial herb which are very hardy in zones 3 through 9. They will also draw butterflies and beneficial insect to your garden. Chives are an easy herb to grow from seeds. This will also regrow after they are cut, and they will multiply too. You can always divide the plants and plant them to regrow in another section as well.
