A rare heirloom tomato that comes from the Bushman family from Council Bluffs, Iowa. This is a 100-year-old heirloom grown by the Bushman family. It is said to have originated in Sonora, California. This is a mid-season variety with regular leaves. An excellent producer of these large pink beefsteak tomatoes. They can range in size from 10oz to almost 20oz. Also, an indeterminate type. The flavors of this fruit are sweet and acidic, but more acidity at first, then the flavor mellows out. If you like large slicing tomatoes, you may like Kremlin Chiming Clock Tomato.
