Darby Stripe Tomato

This heirloom tomato was created by Dr. Lewis Darby back in 1960. Darby Stripe Tomato is an indeterminate plant which is a heavy producer of these 1oz (ca. 38 gram) cherry fruits. These delicious orange tomatoes have some striping on them too, some are more noticeable than others. The flavor is sweet with some tang, which makes these very flavorful. An excellent tomato for markets because of the yields, looks, and flavor. All in all a great tomato for salads, snacking, or for markets.
