Dark Shekel Tomato

These tomatoes were developed by Bill Jeffers of Indiana. This was an off type selection from Pink Shekel Tomato. A mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these black beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to take care of your plant so they will yield fruits until frost comes. The weights will range from 8 ounces (ca. 302 gram) up to 10 ounces (ca. 378 gram). A balanced taste that lean slightly towards the sweet side.
