Darth Mater Tomato

These were created by Dean Slater of Michigan. This was a result of a cross between Prue Tomato and Black from TulaTomato. We carry seeds for both these too. Darth Mater Tomato is a meaty, rich with a sweet and mild taste to them. They are great for sauces, paste, and canning, but this fruit could also be eaten fresh or cut up in salads. A late season variety with regular leaves. Also, an indeterminate type that produce these dark purple elongated tomatoes.
