These were created by Dean Slater of Michigan. This is a mid-season tomato with regular leaves. They produce these heavily ruffled red beefsteak tomatoes. Dean’s Red Ruffles Tomato will range in weight from 5oz (ca. 189 gram) to 10oz (ca. 378 gram). This is also an indeterminate plant that will keep yielding tomatoes until the frost comes. The taste is on the acidic but very flavorful. A good tomato for canning, slicing, or garnishes. We have a video review of this tomato on YouTube.
