Depp’s Pink Firefly Tomato
An heirloom tomato that was first available to the public back in the 1890s. These tomatoes were bred almost a century before they became available. They were named after Emily Depp Coy, the family who bred these delicious large pink tomatoes. An excellent slicing tomato for sandwiches. They also did well for as the farmers markets. A late season variety with potato leaf foliage. It is also an indeterminate plant that produce these pink beefsteak tomato weighing almost 16oz (ca. 605 gram). The flavor of Depp’s Pink Firefly Tomato would be sweet with a touch of acidity. Another large tomato you may like would be Eli Tomato.
