Dwarf Fred’s Tie Dye Tomato

A striped beefsteak tomato developed by The Dwarf Tomato Project. The cross was between Dwarf Wild Fred and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye tomatoes. These are a mid-season plant with rugose regular leaves. They are an indeterminate variety which produces these dark striped beefsteak tomatoes. On average, the weight of this fruit is around 5oz (ca. 189 gram) to 6oz (ca. 227 gram). The flavor of these gorgeous tomatoes are rich with a bit of sweetness, but definitely on the acidic side. They will make an excellent slicer for sandwiches.
