This is an heirloom dwarf tomato that originated from Russia. It was introduced to the USA back in 1990. The Russian name for this fruit is ‘Serebristaya El’. A mid-season tomato plant (73–75 days) with wispy regular carrot top leaves. This is also a disease resistant plant and a determinate variety. They will produce for 4 to 6 weeks, then they will be done yielding fruits. But they produce a lot in this time period. These red tomatoes make an excellent fruit for markets, canning and slicing.
