Early Prolific Straightneck Squash
This is an heirloom squash. A very popular variety amongst home gardeners. These were the AAS Vegetable winner back in 1938. They start producing around (50-60 days). These vegetables are the best when they are around 6 inches to 8 inches long. If you let them go, they can get up to around 24 inches long in a short period of time. These plant will produce up until frost time if taken care of. They are a heavy producing plants. The flavor is a nutty combined with a creamy, buttery taste.
