Girthmire’s Pride Tomato

This tomato came to the US from Yugoslavia by Fred Girthmire from Canada. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This is an indeterminate variety that will produce until frost time if the plant is taken care of properly. Ours had a weight range of 5 oz. to 6 oz. because of garden placement. However, some say it can have a weight range of 6 oz. to 14 oz. These delicious fruits are meaty and full of flavor. They would be great for slicing, sauces, and pastes.
