A rare tomato from Dr. Carolyn Male. This is a mid-season variety with regular leaves. It is also an indeterminate plant that produces loads of these red globe shaped tomatoes. The weights of these fruits will range from 4oz (ca. 151 gram) to 8oz (ca. 302 gram). Be sure to stake your plants well because of the yield of this plant. An excellent tomato for markets because of the production. Herman’s Special Tomato also makes a good fresh eating, or slicing fruit. The flavor is a more acidic forward with an old-timey taste.
