Indian Stripe Heart PL Tomato

Another rare and confusing variety that stems back to Tville. We will provide a link to the Tville conversation about this tomato. The person JLJ would be the one part of the conversation that gives the most information. By the information we gathered, this is a form of Indian stripe tomato IS for short. IS is a regular leaf plant. ISPL is the shorten version name and the PL stands for potato leaf. Now it seems Marsha and Carolynn were working on IS heart. Well, the one we grew this year is Indian Stripe Heart PL Tomato. We added the PL because our plant were potato leaf. Not sure by reading the conversation if theirs were producing Regular leaf or potato leaf or both. Also, we do not know how stable this variety is because we do not know how many times they were grown out be fore we got them.

This is an early season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these hearts and blocky heart fruits. The weights ranged from 6 ounces to 8 ounces in size.
