Indigo Apple Tomato

These were created by Brad Gates in California. A mid-season variety with regular leaves. They are a great yielding plant for an indeterminate type. This was one of our steady producing tomatoes during the summer. Indigo Apple tomato is a thicker walled fruit with a thicker skin and have a weight range from 2oz (ca. 76 gram) to 4oz (ca. 151 gram). We were always taking these to the farmers markets. They sold well for us there due to their looks and flavor. The taste of these delicious fruits lean more towards the sweet side with a tiny bit of acidity.
