These tomatoes are an early to mid-season heat tolerant variety with regular leaves. They are an excellent producing indeterminate plant. A very popular tomato and a must-have in any garden. J.D. Special C-Tex Tomato has a juicy, rich flavor that leans towards the acidic side but not over powering. It is a long-lasting flavor that would be a great addition to any sandwich, sauce, or garnish. Seeds arrived timely, looks pretty healthy; this is my second season to have a business with this company and germination was very good and plants are strong ; I got the J.D.’s Special C-Tex Tomato, to try because it is very stabilized kind from 80's and marked as mid-season heat tolerant what is perfect for our hot dry summer in mid Tennessee
