KBX Tomato

These are a potato leaf version of Kellogg’s Breakfast tomato that appeared in Martha Hufford’s garden. This is a 8oz –16oz bright yellow beefsteak that are very juicy and have low acidity but very sweet. A mid to late season plant that is an indeterminate and very prolific. KBX Tomato is a steady producer and is one of my favorite orange fruits to grow. They are great for slicing, sandwich, and market tomato also can be added to sauces to make it sweeter. This is one of our best-selling yellow tomatoes at the farmers markets. Be sure to check out our other Market Seller Tomatoes.

This is one of my favorite heirlooms to grow. The fruit is large (multiple pounds), beautiful deep yellow/orange color, and is a great slicing and sandwich tomato. I haven't had any disease issues with this variety and have been growing it for 3 or 4 years. I usually plant outside around May 15 (Zone 8A). I would recommend trying this one out.
