This is a rare tomato that originated in Germany. They made their way to Kickapoo Creek, in Illinois. Where a lady received these plant from a gentleman at the Vineyard. The gentleman said they were a family heirloom from Germany. Since that was the only information with no name. The lady named them Kickapoo Creek Tomato. A late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these medium to large beefsteak tomatoes. The weights can range from 8 ounces up to 16 ounces.
