An heirloom tomato from Russia. They date back to the 1920s, when immigrants brought these seeds to America. Lida‘s Ukrainian Tomato is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This is also an indeterminate variety that produce these 4oz to 6oz red beefsteak tomatoes. These will produce up until frost time if you take care of your plants. They have a nice blend of sweetness and acidity, along with an old-timey flavor. This tomato could be used for slicing, canning, salsas, or garnishes.
