Mac’s Pride (Big Mac) Tomato

This is an heirloom tomato has been grown by Doug Brown and the Brown family in Franklin County, Virginia for over 100 years. It is a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. They are an indeterminate variety that is a heavy producer. Be sure to stake your plants because it produces these 1 pound plus beefsteak fruits. A very flavorful tomato with a bit more acidity, but very meaty and juicy.  Mac’s Pride (Big Mac) Tomato makes an excellent slicing, canning, and sauce tomato.
