Macs Pride RL Tomato
This is an heirloom tomato was grown by Doug Brown and the Brown family in Franklin County, Virginia for over 100 years. This is also known as Mac’s Pride (Big Mac) Tomato. This version is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves and produces these giant 1 pound (ca. 454 gram) plus tomatoes. They are an indeterminate variety that is a heavy produce of these fruits. Be sure to stake your plant well or your plants will snap your plant. A very flavorful tomato with a bit more acidity, but very meaty and juicy.
