Maiden’s Gold Tomato

Maiden’s Gold Tomato is a rare old Virginia heirloom which dates back to the 1950s. These were almost lost until Ted Maiden rediscovered them after having the seeds for 20 years. This is a mid-late season variety with regular leaves. They produce these large orange beefsteak tomato ranging in weight from 12oz to 16oz. An indeterminate tomato plant that will produce up to frost time. The flavor of these large orange fruits are juicy, sweet, and fruity.
