This is a rare heirloom tomato with an unknown history. The seeds came from The Martin Project. They are a late season tomato plant with regular leaves. An indeterminate variety that produce these large red heart shaped tomatoes. They have an average weight range from 14 ounces to 17 ounces. These fruits are ruffled and taper to a narrow point to form this heart shape. One of the more unique fruits we have grown. But this was one of our best tasting, well-balanced and flavorful tomatoes we grew this year. A very popular fruit at the farmers markets too. A great slicing, fresh eating, and canning tomato.
