This is a rare heirloom pole bean. These were grown by the McMaine family in Waco, Kentucky for many, many decades. This pole beans are a heavy producer of these, around 4 inch to 5 inch green pods. There are about 7 to 8 beans per pod. The beans are a light tan with brown speckles. They have a great rich full flavor. An excellent bean for snapping or to cook with.
