This is a rare bean variety with an unknown history. These are a pole bean with vines reaching around 8 feet in length. They create these 4 inch to 5 inch pods with gorgeous purple streaks. This could be used as a snap bean around (60-65 days). They make an excellent cooking bean as well. They have a great, full and rich flavor to them.
