This is a rare heirloom tomato that is believed to be grown by the Aztecs in Mexico. A mid-season variety with regular leaves. Negro Azteka Tomato is a high yielding indeterminate plant that will produce loads of these 1oz (ca. 38 gram) black cherry tomatoes. This is an excellent tomato to supply farmers markets and restaurants. These tomatoes have a sweet but acidic flavor to them. This tomato could be used for fresh eating, salads, or salsas.
